Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of LoudPipes QR Portal, including LoudPipes LifeTag profiles, portal accounts, invoices, subscriptions, support, tag-pack orders, delivery-related services, and payment handoff to third-party processors.
1. Important transaction record
This website is operated under the LoudPipes brand. Your applicable invoice, order confirmation, company billing record, or other transaction record issued through this platform forms part of the commercial record for your purchase or subscription. You should keep those records together with these terms.
2. Product and account use
- You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and suitability of the information you store, publish, or maintain through your account or LifeTag profile.
- You must only provide information you are authorised to provide and must not use another person’s information in an unlawful, misleading, or abusive way.
- You must keep your login credentials secure and must not knowingly share account access in an unsafe, misleading, or unauthorised way.
- If you manage other users, riders, staff, dependants, or a company account, you are responsible for the access, permissions, and information you choose to manage through that account.
- You must update your information when it changes so that invoices, contact records, delivery details, and LifeTag-linked information remain accurate.
3. Lawful and responsible use
- You may not use the service for unlawful, abusive, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- You may not try to bypass security, interfere with service operation, scrape protected areas, misuse another person’s information, or attempt unauthorised access.
- You may not upload malicious code, intentionally false account data, intentionally false emergency information, or content that could create avoidable harm or confusion.
4. LifeTag information and emergency-use limits
- You decide what information to store and where to place or use your LifeTag.
- You are responsible for keeping LifeTag-linked information current, lawful, and appropriate for the purpose you want it to serve.
- Not everything connected to your account or profile will necessarily be publicly visible. Visibility may depend on product rules, supported display flows, privacy controls, and the type of information involved.
- LoudPipes LifeTag is not an emergency response, rescue, dispatch, medical, or healthcare service. It is a tool intended to help make selected information easier to reach.
- We do not guarantee that every third party, helper, responder, device, scanner, browser, or mobile phone will access, interpret, display, or act on the information in the same way or at all.
5. Orders, invoices, pricing, and charges
- Prices, item descriptions, invoice line items, delivery charges, subscription charges, and other fees are shown in the relevant order, plan, invoice, or billing view available through the platform.
- The amount payable for a transaction is the amount shown on the applicable invoice, checkout, or billing record at the time you confirm payment.
- Where applicable, delivery, fulfilment, taxes, or other charges may be charged separately or shown as separate line items.
- If a quote, invoice, plan, subscription lane, or company billing arrangement specifically applies to you, that record controls the commercial detail of that transaction together with these terms.
6. Payments and third-party processors
- Online payments initiated through the portal are handed to a third-party payment processor, including PayFast where that payment lane is offered.
- When you continue to the payment processor from an invoice page, you are authorising payment of the amount then due on that invoice.
- You are responsible for reviewing the invoice, line items, and amount due before submitting payment.
- Payment completion, authorisation, rejection, chargeback handling, and processor-side security steps may also be subject to the third-party processor’s own rules and systems.
7. Subscriptions, renewals, suspension, and cancellation
- If your plan or account includes recurring or ongoing subscription charges, those charges continue according to the applicable plan, invoice, company billing model, or renewal cycle unless cancelled, suspended, changed, or terminated in accordance with the service rules that apply to that account.
- Suspension, expiry, failed payment, or cancellation may affect access to account features, billing status, tag activation, public profile visibility, or other service functionality.
- Where a company administrator manages users, tags, billing, or subscriptions for other users, that company billing structure may affect how charges, renewals, and account changes are administered.
8. Delivery, fulfilment, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- Any delivery or fulfilment timing shown on an order, invoice, dispatch notice, or related communication is an estimate unless we clearly state otherwise.
- Returns, refunds, replacements, credits, or exchanges depend on the product or service involved, the condition and status of the item, whether it has been personalised, activated, linked to an account, used, dispatched, or fully performed, and the rules of applicable law.
- Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Transaction records and access
- We may keep order, invoice, payment, support, security, and audit records for operational, legal, tax, accounting, anti-abuse, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Portal visibility of a record does not guarantee permanent self-service access forever. We may retain records internally even where the customer-facing display changes or an account is later closed or restricted.
- You should keep your own copies of invoices, confirmations, and important transaction communications.
10. Service changes and availability
Products, features, support processes, pricing models, portal capabilities, delivery methods, and integrations may change over time. We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or remove features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or restructure the service.
11. Liability and availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for outcomes caused by inaccurate user data, device limitations, connectivity issues, third-party service failures, courier delays, processor failures, or delayed, failed, or non-existent third-party response.
12. Privacy, complaints, and support
Use the Privacy Policy for information about data handling and privacy-related matters. Use the Access to Records page for the public records-access route. Use the Contact page for support, account help, billing questions, delivery questions, complaints, or privacy-related requests. If a law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights continue to apply.
